Events in the Conversations on Research in Teaching and Learning Series share a synthesis of the latest research on a pedagogical topic. Join us in an exploration of the current research on the use of content and trigger warnings in the higher education classroom. Specifically, we will focus on the varied ways they can be used, student and faculty perception of their value, whether their use impacts student learning, and whether they have the intended effect of lessening emotional or psychological distress. Participants will leave with a clear understanding of key findings in the research literature to inform their own pedagogical practices.
