Colloquium on Inclusive Teaching Essentials
The Chicago Center for Teaching and Learning invites faculty and instructors to join the Colloquium on Inclusive Teaching Essentials (CITE). CITE is designed to guide a cohort of instructors with a range of experiences with inclusive pedagogy through the process of revising or developing a course with inclusion in mind. This colloquium focuses on the development of course materials through an examination of select scholarly literature on inclusive practices, peer feedback on new materials, and reflection on one’s teaching practices (see below for a full list of topics and session dates).
Applications
The Colloquium on Inclusive Teaching Essentials is open to all faculty and instructors at the University, including Instructional Professors and lecturers, Harper-Schmidt Fellows, and tenure-line faculty. Applications typically open in September and close in November. Applicants will be selected based on their interest in and goals for the program. For questions about the program or the application process, please contact Amanda M. Jungels (amanda.jungels@uchicago.edu).
