Please join us for our Autumn Quarter lunchtime reading group! We will meet to discuss David Gooblar’s book, The Missing Course: Everything They Never Taught You About College Teaching.
The book offers a myriad of practical advice, teaching strategies, and activities that make teaching and learning more effective and efficient, and it explores some of the research supporting those practices. This reading group, facilitated by CCTL staff, provides participants the opportunity to connect across disciplines about a range of topics.

October 12: Introduction & Chapters 1 – 2
October 26: Chapters 3 – 5
November 9: Chapters 6 - 8
In addition to providing lunch at each session, the CCTL will also provide books for all participants. Books will be available to pick up in advance of our first meeting. For planning purposes, we ask that those interested in participating only register if they plan to attend all three sessions. Registration is limited to 25.
