Call for Applicants: Pedagogy Fellows Program

The Chicago Center for Teaching and Learning (CCTL) invites full-time faculty and instructors to apply for the 2024-2025 cohort of the Pedagogy Fellows Program (PFP). This program aims to support UChicago academics in developing, extending, and revising fundamental teaching competencies while engaging in a syllabus-revision project. The selected cohort of Fellows will engage in a series of practice-oriented workshops organized around peer-to-peer discussions, accompanied by classroom observation and formative feedback provided by both other Fellows and CCTL pedagogy specialists. Faculty and instructors who complete the program will receive $1,000 in professional development funds to capitalize on the new pedagogical insights cultivated by the experience.

The PFP is open to all full-time academics at the University, including tenure-track faculty, Senior Instructional Professors, Instructional Professors, lecturers, and Harper-Schmidt Fellows. A limited number of slots are available. Applicants will be selected on the basis of their interest in and goals for the program, and with the aim of creating a cohort of Fellows from a variety of disciplines and programs across the University.

Please review the full call for applications for details and complete this brief application to indicate interest by Friday, September 6.
