This opportunity welcomes proposals that support the development of inclusive pedagogical activities. Inclusive pedagogy refers to the ways in which the classroom environment, learning activities, curricula, and assessment are designed and delivered to engage all students in learning that is meaningful, relevant, and accessible. Inclusive pedagogy embraces a view of the individual and individual difference as the source of diversity that can enrich students’ lives and learning. Members of the University of Chicago community who teach or are in academic mentoring roles are invited to review the call for proposals and apply. If you have questions, please contact Cheryl Richardson (firstname.lastname@example.org), Associate Director for Inclusive Teaching Initiatives.
Applications can be found online at the University of Chicago Funding Portal. Submissions are now closed for Winter Quarter.
