New and experienced faculty can request confidential feedback on their teaching with an Individual Teaching Consultation. Through these consultations, you will discuss with peers teaching strategies in relation to your course’s learning goals.
With the ITC, you can receive feedback on the following areas:
- course syllabi,
- course revision,
- assessing and evaluating student learning,
- addressing and preventing classroom crises,
- other issues in classroom teaching, and
- teaching portfolios.
If you wish to improve your teaching strategies or learn new techniques to better match your pedagogical goals, contact the Center. You may find an ITC especially beneficial if you are teaching in a new format or setting, or are unaccustomed to the American classroom.
As faculty, you are welcome to consult with the Center on any pedagogical issues. Please write us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call us at (773) 834-2562.
